چکیده
Most water bodies worldwide are infested with algae bloom and Lake Taihu is no exception, various techniques have been developed to harvest microalgae from as part of the lake cleaning program this results in a large biomass deal with. This study made use harvested biocolorants source for textile application also evaluated its dyeing characteristics mercerized bleached cotton. The fabrics were dyed either ultrasound or bath method. method improved dye extraction yield 17.8% conventional 26.7%, which was enhanced 33.2% addition HCl (1 cm). effective at improving uptake reduced temperature when compared produced different shades color after mordants. had good fastness properties laundry, crocking light. showed ultraviolet protection factor. potential colorants will provide an alternate that environmentally friendly.

The Non-performance of Ghana Cotton Industry: Eco- Friendly Cotton Production Technologies for Sustainable Development
Overview of the Ghana Textile Industry primarily shows a predominant cotton fabric manufacturing sector with absolute reliance on cotton as the major raw material for production. The Ghana Cotton Company Limited (GCCL) and other privately owned ginneries in the Northern Region have, in the past, been the major suppliers of lint cotton to the textile factories with occasional imports to support ...

Water-soluble polymers have versatile applications but they are hardly used in wet processing of cellulosic substrates (cotton, viscose, jute, etc.), particularly in dyeing. In this paper, one such water-soluble polymer, polyacrylic acid has been synthesized, characterized and applied to viscose fabric in conjunction with various types of reactive dyes, namely triazinyl, vinyl sulphone, high ex...

Biomass pigments have been regarded as promising alternatives to conventional synthetic dyestuffs for the development of sustainable and clean dyeing. This investigation focused on in situ dyeing of fabrics with biopigments derived from tea polyphenols via non-enzymatic browning reaction. The average particle size of dyed residual liquor with natural tea polyphenol was 717.0 nm (ranging from 61...

Today, natural colorants are emerging globally due to the fact that they are safer and more environmentally-friendly. Natural dyes have been employed in dyeing Persian carpet piles for many years. In this study, the dried Achillea was used for dyeing wool yarns. The Iranian wool yarn was scoured, mordanted using Cu, Sn, Al salts and then dyed with different amounts of dried Achillea powder. متن کاملOn Harnessing Natural Resources for Sustainable Development
Is the Present Pace of Economic Development Sustainable? The mainstream economics has characteristically been myopic in visualizing the relationship between human beings and the ecosphere, the surrounding in which they live, work and prosper. Man thought that everything, whether animate or inanimate, exists for him and he exists only for himself. Nature is bountiful to him; moreover, nature is ...
